This course, for Safety Representatives, covers their functions, and methodologies of fulfilling the role. The role & function of safety committees is also covered. The course will also ensure that those persons in your organisation who fulfill a representative role will have sufficient knowledge of legal requirements, inspection, risk assessments and accident investigation and reporting.
To develop, implement and maintain an effective safety culture requires ongoing consultation with all level of the organisation. Additionally, legislation requires that employers recognise Trade Union appointed representatives and where necessary arrange for non-union representatives to be appointed.
